In the Dinosaur Museum Altmühltal, every school class and every kindergarten experiences unforgettable moments together:

Discover life-size dinosaur replicas on the adventure trail, compete with the prehistoric animals in size and speed at several hands-on stations, for example, or feel their teeth and claws.

It’s really clever what the children can find out and learn in a playful way! After a refreshing break, two adventure playgrounds invite them to let off steam.

And the covered hands-on hall offers numerous opportunities to explore, play, solve riddles and discover their own creativity.

Our group offer:

  • 12,90€ per person (schools and kindergartens)
  • One teacher/accompanying person is free of charge for every 10 paying pupils
  • Two educators/ two accompanying persons are of charge for every 10 paying kindergarten children
  • Free bus parking
  • Please register with the form below at least three working days in advance
  • You will receive a confirmation of your reservation. You can then use this to collect and pay for your tickets at the entrance

  • Lunch (DINO BOX: organic chicken nuggets with fries incl. 0.5l soft drink or organic DINO pasta with tomato sauce incl. 0.5l soft drink)

Fossil search

Echte Fossilien aus der Zeit der Dinosaurier werden mit unserer Schutzausrüstung aus dem Jurakalkstein geklopft.

Der schönste Fossilienfund darf mit nach Hause genommen werden. Diese Aktion empfehlen wir erst ab Grundschulalter.

Treasures from the Sand

Hier werden Kinder zu Hobby-Entdeckern und können nach echten Haifischzähnen und Edelsteinen suchen.

Uncover crystals

Mit einem Hammer und einer Schutzbrille werden Gesteinsformationen aufgebrochen und Hohlräume (Drusen) mit funkelnden Kristallen freigelegt. Die Schmuckstücke können mit nach Hause genommen werden.

GIPSBlock

Edelsteine, Haizähne oder kleine Knochenteile freilegen: Das können nur die Profis!

You will receive a confirmation of your reservation! You can then use this to collect and pay for your tickets at the ticket office. You can book additional services at dinosauriermuseum.de/en/groups. The school class price is valid for 10 or more paying pupils and only if booked in advance (at least three working days in advance). The school class price is not valid for vocational schools, evening schools etc., not on weekends and public holidays and not during school vacations (Bavaria). The additional offers (e.g. hands-on activities or the menu offer) apply from 10 pupils/children and in combination with museum admission (subject to availability). Please register the school class using the digital form. Pre-registration for hands-on activities and school menu at least 3 days in advance.
