While the little dino fans immerse themselves in prehistoric adventures, parents can enjoy the day in a relaxed atmosphere.
Life-size dinosaurs to touch are waiting on our forest adventure trail, while two varied adventure playgrounds – one of them in the forest shade – invite you to let off steam.
Our hands-on activities are particularly exciting, where children slip into the role of paleontologists, research and play – with some activities, finds can even be taken home.
In the adventure museum, small and large visitors marvel at real skeletons and other sensations from times long past.
Excellent catering is also provided: Our cozy forest beer garden and the lakeside restaurant offer a variety of organic dishes and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere.

Dates & Booking
Additional people
The booked package includes admission for up to 10 children. Adults are not included in the price and pay a reduced admission fee of €18.90. Additional children can be added at the reduced price of €14.90 per child. You can find a full overview of the regular admission prices here.
Table reservation
The “Supersaurus” package includes a table reservation with dinosaur-themed birthday decorations. The table will be reserved for you for one hour at the lakeside restaurant. Reservations in the beer garden are not possible. Please note that reservations must be made at least 1.5 hours before the restaurant closes.
Birthday cake
You can enjoy a birthday cake you bring with you in our forest beer garden. Unfortunately, we can’t refrigerate your cake for you. We also have a selection of cakes available in our food service offerings.

Duration & procedure
You can plan about 90 minutes for the forest adventure trail – without a break in the forest beer garden. The hands-on activities take between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the selection.
Exemplary schedule for a full-day visit:
11:00 AM: Arrival

12:30 PM – 1:30 PM: Lunch
1:30 PM – 2:30 PM: Hands-on activity

Age recommendation
Weather
The museum and the park are generally open in all weather conditions. In exceptional cases, such as extreme weather conditions such as severe thunderstorms, storms or heavy snowfall, we reserve the right to temporarily close the park. You can find current information on our homepage.
Even on rainy days, nothing stands in the way of an exciting visit to the Dinosaur Museum. Many areas, including the researcher camp (except fossil search), the museum hall, the shop and the restaurant are covered. With weatherproof clothing, the forest can also be explored.
On hot days, our shady forest offers pleasant cooling. In addition, air-conditioned museum halls, the shop and the restaurant ensure a pleasant indoor climate, while water spray systems offer refreshing cooling at various points.
Payment
You pay for the package as well as the admission for the adults together on site at the cash desk, either in cash or by card.
To ensure that the process runs as smoothly as possible, we recommend that the birthday group gathers in front of the main entrance. One person takes over the payment, while the rest of the group waits on the meadow in front of the entrance. Then you can explore the museum and the Dino Park together.
Change & Cancellation
Please inform us promptly of any changes so that we can ensure a smooth booking process.

Hands-on activities in the researcher camp
Treasures in the sand
Little treasure hunters can go on a discovery tour with a sieve and shovel and sieve real shark teeth, fossils and sparkling gemstones from the sand. A bag with found treasure can be taken home.

Search for fossils
Real fossils from the Jurassic Sea are knocked out of the Jurassic limestone with our protective equipment.
One find per child (up to fist size) can be taken home.

Expose crystals
Children split special rocks (geodes) with a hammer and discover glittering crystals inside. Each geode is a surprise.
The exposed crystal can be taken home.
