Are the Hands-On Activities Open when it Rains?

Please note that our fossil site is not covered and can therefore only be open in dry weather. In case of heavy rain or snow, the fossil search remains closed for safety and quality reasons. Regardless of the weather, the “Dinoblock”, the “treasure hunt” and the “uncovering crystals” activities are open.

Are Dogs Allowed?

Can I Leave the Museum Grounds During My Visit?

You can leave the museum grounds for a limited time. Please ask the staff at the ticket counter for a re-entry stamp.
