Are the Hands-On Activities Open when it Rains?
Please note that our fossil site is not covered and can therefore only be open in dry weather. In case of heavy rain or snow, the fossil search remains closed for safety and quality reasons. Regardless of the weather, the “Dinoblock”, the “treasure hunt” and the “uncovering crystals” activities are open.
Catering for Groups
In our restaurant, children can choose between two menus. In addition, children can buy snacks at our kiosk as well as in our lakeside restaurant. You are welcome to consume your own food and drinks in our Waldbiergarten.
Interactive Activities for Groups
You can find our current offers, including age recommendations and prices, here. Depending on the activity, the group may need to be divided into smaller groups. You can arrange the exact group division on site. However, advance booking is required. The interactive activities are not included in the admission price.
Group Tours
We generally offer exciting tours for groups. However, due to staffing reasons, the offer is currently limited. Group Tickets and Admission
Please pay for tickets collectively at the counter, either in cash or by card. For organizational reasons, we kindly ask you to avoid payments with small change. All other group members, please wait in front of the main entrance.

Children from 4 years: €14.90 per child (reduced group price) Children under 4 years: free of charge One adult accompanying person is free for every 10 paying children Kindergarten: Two adult accompanying persons are free for every 10 paying children Additional adults: €18.90 per person (reduced group price)

Children’s Birthday without Booking a Package
Of course, it is also possible to celebrate a children’s birthday with us without booking a package. If you are a small group, you can buy our regular tickets. You can find an overview of our prices here: Prices
Children’s Birthday Party Cancellation
You can, of course, cancel your booking if unforeseen events occur; we understand. We only ask that you inform us as soon as possible if you have to cancel your visit.
